Lake coloring book app review
Colouring books for adults have been all the rage in the last couple of years. The act of coloring is known to be very relaxing and help you distress. Nowadays we don’t even need to put pencil to paper as we have a range of coloring apps to choose from. I came across the lake app in the app store and gave it a spin.
Lake says a significant part of every purchase goes directly to the artists that made them. It’s even an Apple design award winner 2017. Lake is an IOS only app with coloring books and a lot of different designs made by Instagram artists.

The app is optimized for Apple Pencil and takes full advantage of powerful iOS and macOS technologies such as Dynamic Type, 3D Touch, Quick actions, On-Demand Resources, CloudKit Sync, Handoff, Haptic Feedback, QuickLook, and Spotlight search.

The Toolbox contains a color wheel with 245 colors and a couple of tools like an acrylic brush, acrylic pencil, spray can and an eraser.
Lake has loads of designs to choose from like animals, mandala’s, food and flowers. I chose a lovely drawing of a man by artist Nelleke Verhoeff to start off with:
